North American Harvard IIB

'KF488'

(A picture of this aircraft will appear here once its current repaint is complete)

Reconstruction of the Museum's Harvard commenced in 2000, being built up from a collection of parts from various sources and so can not be attributed to any one aircraft. The rear fuselage is ex RAF, the fin ex Royal Navy, another part was marked as a US Navy SNJ and the wings are ex Italian. As such it has been painted KF388 to represent one of the many Harvards that served with the RAF and is probably the most accurate for the main fuselage section.
