Supporters Club
No meeting in August due to Air Festival preparations
The Museum has a considerable loyal following of volunteers and supporters. The Club was formed in June 2008 to retain this vital asset. Its primary aims are to support the Museum in all aspects of its work and to maintain the interest of its members through regular meetings and visits to aviation concerns. Meetings are centred on a guest speaker. (At the first meeting Mike Phipp, the Airport Historian, provided a very interesting illustrated talk on the history of the Airport). A trustee is also usually available to keep members up-to-date and to answer questions.
Meetings are held at Bournemouth Flying Club on the first Wednesday of the month at 7.30. Individual annual membership is £12. A spouse or partner may join for an additional £6. Young people under 16 or students are charged just £3. Visitors are also welcomed to attend for a small contribution to the funds.
